Ready to commission a painting?

Commissions are unique pieces of art that are special to you! I work with you to paint special memories such as your pets, home, trips, wedding, and events.

I paint in oil for larger pieces with more details and likeliness. I paint in watercolor for small illustration pieces.

Commission process is simple. It starts with you sending me a few reference photos, we agree on a design and timeline, after deposit I paint and get your review before completing. Then Voila it’s done!

Pet Portrait & Pet Memorial

My tennis pal Karen commissioned me for a portrait of Elbie as Christmas gift for her husband. He is one of those “who are hard to give a gift for” type. She told me Elbie loves dancing and sent me a video of him. After completing a normal portrait, I did this fun piece picturing Elbie pursuing his music career with stage name “Elbie Presley”.

Many of my pet portrait customers told me later on that they really loved having a special memory painted, especially after their paw friends crossed that rainbow bridge.

As a pet lover myself, I found it is rewarding to help their pets living in my art and their home.

Landscape

I worked on this special oil painting for my sister and brother-in-law. They spent their first 6 years of marriage living in Chicago, and now live in Indy. This painting is of their favorite spot to hangout near their old home in Lincoln Park, and now it hangs in their new home to bring back those sweet memories.

Live Guest Portraits

I did live guest portraits in the 2026 Night to Inspire fundraiser event by Dripping Springs Art League. It was such a fun night. I took photos of guests, the guests explored the rest of the event, then came back to get their paintings. I saw so many smiles and had fun chatting with everyone. I couldn’t even finish all pieces in the three hour event window, and got so many inquiries to complete afterwards.

I do both live event painting and single piece commission. They do price differently. It was such a fun way to get special memories stored in art!
